David is a principal in the law firm of Jaconetta, Burnham & Wimer, LLC, concentrating in the areas of business planning and transactions, real estate transactions, and income tax planning and preparation for estates and trusts (including charitable trusts and foundations). David is a graduate of The University of Connecticut School of Law and The Pennsylvania State University, where he earned a Bachelors of Science Degree in Accounting.
David has over twenty (20) years of experience as an attorney. Prior to joining Jaconetta, Burnham & Wimer, LLC, he was an associate with Berman, Bourns & Currie, LLC, in West Hartford and O’Brien, Shafner, Stuart, Kelley & Morris, P.C., of Groton. David also was an accounting officer in the life insurance and consumer electronics industries for ten (10) years prior to becoming an attorney.
David is past President and a former member of the Board of Directors of the Central Connecticut Business and Estate Planning Council. He is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association (Real Property and Business Law sections). David lives in Bolton with his wife, Nancy, and their two children, Emily and Evan. He is active in the Bolton community, where he has coached youth basketball, baseball, softball and soccer.
